A Gentle Elephant Named Bunty
Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there lived a gentle and kind elephant named Bunty. Known for his big ears and long trunk, Bunty was always ready to help others. Whenever any animal had a problem, they would go to Bunty, and he’d do his best to assist them. His kindness made him well-loved by all the animals, big and small.
The Jealous Rabbit’s Plan
But not everyone admired Bunty’s kindness. There was one animal who disliked him – a clever but jealous rabbit named Gogo. Gogo felt ignored because everyone praised Bunty and sought his help. Gogo decided to play a trick on Bunty to make him look foolish in front of the other animals.
The Secret Lake Trick
One hot day, Gogo approached Bunty and said, “Bunty, I know a secret lake with the coolest, sweetest water. But it’s hidden deep in the forest, and only I know the way.”
Bunty, feeling thirsty, was excited to hear about the lake. “That sounds wonderful, Gogo! Could you show me the way?” he asked.
The Wise Tortoise Saves the Day
Just then, an elderly tortoise named Tara happened to pass by. She saw the exhausted Bunty and the smug look on Gogo’s face. Realizing what was happening, Tara decided to teach Gogo a lesson. “Bunty,” she said kindly, “there’s a beautiful lake nearby. I can take you there if you’d like.”
A Lesson in Kindness and Friendship
After a refreshing drink at the lake, Bunty forgave Gogo and invited him to join them. Gogo, now feeling remorseful, apologized for his behavior and decided to be kind from that day forward.
